About You
WE'RE HIRING: Direct Ad Sales Rep

Employer: nzgirl 1999 Ltd, aka www.nzgirl.co.nz
Position: Direct Advertising Sales Representative
Based: Auckland
Time Period: 4 month contract, with potential to extend into FTE
Experience required: 5 years

We’re on the hunt for a Direct Advertising Sales Representative who will help us meet the needs of the SME market with our tried and true nzgirl products – and a few new ones as well.

nzgirl.co.nz is a market leader in the online space in New Zealand. Launched ten years ago, the site continues to inspire and inform the women of New Zealand with its mix of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle commentary. 2010 looks to be its best year yet, with a super hot makeover on the cards and some strong growth targets set. Will you be part of this success story?

You are:

  • Motivated, enthusiastic, passionate and hard working.
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone – there’s no hiding behind emails here.
  • Great at meeting new people, establishing connections and maintaining those relationships.
  •  Looking for a new challenge and a role that you look forward to in the morning.

You will have:

  • A passion for selling digital, a solid understanding of the online advertising environment and a drive to continue to learn and develop this expertise.
  • A background in direct selling, with established contacts and evidence of successful results.
  • An understanding of and respect for processes, structure and procedures and their part in maximising sales efficiencies.
  • A belief in the nzgirl brand and an understanding of why we’re a great environment for clients.
  • An excellent handle on your communication, presentation, negotiation and new business skills.

Nitty Gritty

  • Candidates need to be New Zealand residents, able to work in New Zealand and speak fluent English.  You will be based in Auckland and have a full driver’s license.
  • This is initially a contract role for four months, and if successful will go full time.
  • Remuneration to be negotiated dependent on experience. We’re looking for someone with around five years experience.
  • NO RECRUITMENT AGENTS PLEASE. We typed that out letter by letter, so we mean it. Really.

Still nodding?

Send your CV, with a cover letter explaining why your name will be on our shortlist to jenene.freer@nzgirl.co.nz.  In short, sell yourself.
